But Why? Why the hell do I have to do this for a game when it's such a basic principle in almost every other game to date? It's a simple function to make a delete character button. Of course I can micromanage my Save files and tweak my controls if I needed to. It doesn't change the fact that it's absurd to see a game that lacks such basic functions in the game it's self, to be edited by hand, not because of troubleshooting or modifying a game past it's boundries, but for basic use of the game in it's normal, vanilla format. I know how to edit such files and use a computer better than most people would, and do such editing often when I desire to modify a game or if I have to troubleshoot issues. Of course, people still defend them wholeheartedly that it's somehow inferior to want in-game controls, and that it's not big deal that even for extremely basic functions, you must edit files by hand outside of the game.
